David, what a great capture of this lovely target. Globular clusters always amaze me, to think of how many stars are in the group and how they must all interact with one another is just mind blowing. Your image is a great demonstration of how using multiple very short exposures can result in impressive results. Stewart Moore wrote a nice article about the other globular clusters in Hercules, well worth a read:

Thanks James, will have a look. Have had some quite strange weather on the north east coast for the month of May - cloud with cold nor'easter winds, but now seems to have improved. Hope to get out a bit more, even as the light increases. David
