Mizar A spectrum
Hi Peter,
Nice spectrum of Mizar A. Can I ask a couple of questions....Did you let the star drift to get the spread out spectrum? And, why are there 3 synthesised colour spectra in your image? Mizar A is an early A-type star so I don't think the weak absorption lines at the near-UV end would be calcium or helium. I think the near UV lines should be a bit more distinct, maybe try some different focus settings? It's a nice spectrum though
Cheers
Hugh
