The Rosette nebula is in Monoceros and nicely placed for viewing right now. The image was taken by BAA Member Paul Curtis from his home near Andover using an 80mm Meade APO refractor and a modified Canon 1100D camera. The exposure was 20 minutes at iso1600, processed in Astroart and Paint Shop Pro.
