    Hi,

I am wondering if the electronic version (pdf) of the 2020 BAA Handbook is available yet. I checked under Publications –> Handbook and did not see it.

    Thanks,

    John

Despite the mail announcing its availability I’ve been unable to download it.  I contact the Reply-To: address to ask for assistance.

    Paul,

The October 2018 issue of the JBAA appears under the Journal Archives page.

BAA October Journal now available on line

How quickly the longer chillier evenings have come around. It seems

course, after the July eclipse, which many BAA members viewed, Nick
James personal account makes good reading. He is still collecting
eclipse images and videos for the BAA Eclipse 2019 DVD. If you would
like your images to be included please send them directly to

The first bit specifically states that the October Journal is available on line. The second quoted portion only makes sense if it refers to the 2019 issue.

I still can’t find the October 2019 issue anywhere 8-(

    Hi,

The link on the BAA Home webpage which leads to Publications – Journal still shows the August issue as being the most recent.

The October 2019 issue is in Downloads – Journal Archive. I guess this is because the PDF of the current Journal is intentionally only available to Members, although it’s usually located in Publications – Journal where the contents are restricted for non-Members.

I haven’t located the 2020 Handbook yet. I’m sure it will turn up in due course.

    Cheers,

         Alex.

    Hi ,

Sorry for the confusion. I meant to say October 2019, not October 2018.

As Alex says its under the Journal Archive. This can found by following Publications tab –> Downloads menu item –> Journal Archive thumbnail. See:

Thanks.  That’s where I just found it but I’m quite certain that it wasn’t there when I posted yesterday — it was the first place I looked, not least because that was the destination of the link in the email sent to me.

The forum page also now shows the Oct 2019 issue; it did not yeterday.

Oh well, it all worked out in the end.

Clicking on ‘BAA Journal now available on line’ in the recent Newsletter takes you to the October Journal, and as you’ve remarked, it can now be accessed via the BAA Home page, etc.
