An image found while searching for any images or spectra of SN2019vxm.

Illustrates just how small Gyulbudaghian's nebula (MrG) really is...probably why not many astro imagers bother with it...?

Iris nebula on left hand side, MrG on right hand side at intersection of the two white bars(!). Field of view ~2.2 x 1.0 degrees.

Hi Mike. You probably know this, but just in case: Robin Leadbeater who is a faint transient spectro maestro started a forum thread on SN 2019vxm.

https://britastro.org/node/20124

Thanks David,

It was just that I couldn't view Robin's spectrum from the link he gave.  It would be really useful if he could post it on the forum so it is more accessible. I'm hoping to try with my objective prism next time we get some clear skies without the Moon...

Mike.

Oh I see. I expect Robin puts them in the BAA spectro database, but do highlight this with Robin by picking up the thread. Collaboration is what the BAA is all about. You can find (presumably the instrument corrected) downloadable data here:

Problem solved...it's a browser issue.  Explorer just sits there doing nothing but Google Chrome loads the spectrum immediately without any problems!
