Since the ringed planet is high in our evening skies right now it seemed very timely when this excellent image was sent in by Leo Aerts. He reports it was taken using a Celestron 14, 2.5x powermate and RGB Baader filters and seeing was good. Saturn culminated at about 27. The Encke division and the hexagonal polar cap, with faint detail are visible, together with very faint patchy structures in the planetary banding.
