Whilst net browsing this morning I stumbled on this reported crater discovery in the Egyptian desert . Search for Kamil Crater National Geographic . I have problems with a working long URL insertion here ! Kamil Crater . I thought that it might be of general interest , particularly as it is an outcome of pro searches on Google Earth !I seem to recall an earlier discovery of a much larger impact using the same Google tool a few years ago ! PS Probably not on ‘Street View’ . This might be worth a Twitter (but I don’t Tweet )

Whoops . This was flagged up in the Sky & Telescope updates yesterday Kamil Missed that ! The crater was originally flagged up back in 2009 .
