Alan reports that conditions were, generally, very good in Elgin for the transit, with a clear blue sky and just a few wispy, high-altitude clouds.
This white light image was taken at 12:47 UT with an Imaging Source DMK51AU02.AS camera and a SkyWatcher ED100, f/9 refractor on an HEQ5 mount.
Due to atmospheric turbulence, particularly at the end of the transit, he only got timings for second and third contacts:
Location:  Elgin, Moray, Scotland (N 57 deg 38.625', W 003 deg 20.455')
Contact II: 11:15:38 UT
Contact III: 18:37:23 UT
