Ian captured this splendid image of the Pleiades (M45) in Taurus on 2016 October 23rd between 00:19 and 02:09 UTC. It is a stack of 88 images each with exposure 30 seconds at ISO800.
Equipment used was a Nikon D810A in full frame (FX) mode with coma corrector, Sky-watcher 200PDS, HEQ5 Pro unguided.
Conditions were clear with occasional cloud, and seeing was good.
Processing was in PixInsight 1.8 and Lightroom 6.
