I wanted to get the Milky Way over St Cywfan's church (the "church in the sea") as its a famous landmark here but the weather in late 2016 was appalling and when I arrived here this March, the moon was full! Bright moonlight illuminated the sea and church but Mars was visible slowly setting into the sea. I managed to frame a large rock and the church as the tide crept in and also got the constellations of Aries, Triangulum and Andromeda completely in the frame too.

Hello Martin,

this is a lovely image of one of my favourite locations. It's very nicely framed - thank you!

Do you have any images of nearby Llanddwyn Island by any chance?

Kind regards,

Jeremy Shears
