Aurora Alert

A coronal hole has started to impact earth from 18:30UT 7th December 2016.

The field is unstable both positive and negative however the wind speed has increased to over 530kps.

It has been picked up in Tarbatness, so it is only affecting NE Scotland at the moment but could go further over the next few days.
