The next meeting of the BAA Historical Section is in Liverpool on May 21st, with a theme of "Observational Astronomy through the Ages"

Time:    10:00 - 17:00  (doors open at 09:30)
Venue:   The Quaker Meeting House, 22 School Lane, Liverpool, L1 3BT
Cost:    5 pounds for BAA members, 10 pounds for non-members
You can book in advance or pay at the door; advance booking is preferred.

If there is interest, Liverpool AS would be willing to run an observing session at their Leighton observatory on Saturday evening.

There is no parking at the Quaker Meeting House, but plenty of car parks nearby. Liverpool Lime Street Station is ten minutes walk away.
