Richard Miles mentioned that the list of things to do under the Project Alcock
heading was rather long. It is quite a mouthful but the aim is to cover observers
from beginners to experienced. To concentrate on discovery alone might be a bit hard
going so this approach increases the chances of a comet actually being observed and
should motivate people towards keeping going to make that discovery.

One more to add to the list so you still have something to do when it is cloudy - how
unusual !!! (or at any time of the day for that matter);
- searching on-line images from SOHO, STEREO, etc
