Good afternoon all,

Updated pages;
Comet news; http://www.britastro.org/projectalcock/Comet%20news.htm

Websites; http://www.britastro.org/projectalcock/Websites.htm
Link to HM Nautical Almanac Office added - http://astro.ukho.gov.uk/nao/index2.html

Just tried SSON's downunder telescope at Warrumbungle
(http://www.sierrastars.com/gp/Warrumbungle/Warrumbungle.aspx) Images look OK and comet photometry
ditto. Haven't sent anything to the MPC as the observatory doesn't yet have an Observatory Code but
work on this is in progress. Have just requested images of C/2013 V5 which is a morning object for
southern hemisphere observers, total mag around 7 and nuclear mag approximately 13.5.

Worth keeping an eye on the approach to Mars of C/2013 A1 (Siding Spring). See; See NASA Mars
Exploration website at; http://mars.nasa.gov/comets/sidingspring/

Regards
