[BAA Comets] 174P outburst

Thanks to Richard Miles, Wendy Clark, Eric Watkins, Johan Warell, Peter 
Carson and Denis Buczynski for submitting their images to the section 
for measurement.

At 15 days from the outburst the latest plots show that the coma 
continues to expand linearly at around 3.4 arcsec/day. At the comet's 
current distance of 6.6au this corresponds to an expansion velocity of 
95 m/s. The coma is now around 70 arcsec across corresponding to a 
diameter of 335,000 km at the comet.

Please keep this comet under observation. As the surface brightness of 
the coma drops long exposures will be needed to pick up its full extent.
