[BAA Comets] Comet C/2016R2 PanSTARRS

Has a spectrum been obtained for this comet? Considering its activity
at fairly large distances from the Sun, I wonder if this is another of
those rare CO comets like Morehouse and Humason.Cheers,David

 Yes, it is certainly worth watching and seems to be developing
quickly. 
 There has been some impressive activity given that it is over 3au
out. 
 There's a really nice sequence from Michael Jäger on Space
Weather:

 but this was from very dark skies. Your image certainly shows some 
 tantalising detail near the limit. My latest image taken just before 
 yours is too noisy to show much other than the main tail:
