<P><FONT face=Arial>Hi All,<BR>For those not aware Herbert Raab of Astrometrica
has just released an update to Astrometrica that now downloads the MPCOrb data
directly from the MPC https server. See </FONT><A
href="http://www.astrometrica.at/download.html"><FONT
face=Arial>www.astrometrica.at/download.html</FONT></A><FONT face=Arial> For
several months Astrometrica was unable to download directly from this secure
server which did make it a bit of a pain to keep the orbital elements data base

<P><FONT style="size: 2"><FONT style="face: arial">If you cu</FONT></FONT><FONT
face="Times New Roman">rrently use the Klet mirror site to download the MPCOrb
database, and you </FONT><BR></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman">want to download from the Minor Planet Center
again, open the program settings, go </FONT><BR></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman">to the [Intenet] tab, and select 'Minor Planet
Center (https)' for the MPCOrb server.</FONT></P>

<P><FONT face="Times New Roman">If you still have selected the Minor Planet
Center, first switch to the Klet mirror, save </FONT><BR></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman">the program settings, close Astrometrica once,
restart it, and then select 'Minor Planet </FONT><BR></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman">Center (https)' for the MPCOrb server, as
described above. This switch will make sure </FONT><BR></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman">that all data are set correctly and it is needed
only once.</FONT></P>

download the MPCOrb database directly </FONT><BR></P>

whish to do so.</FONT></P>
