Members who have not yet sent in their Balloting List for the election of Council for the new session are reminded that there is still time to do this before the closing date of 2014 October 16. If you have not yet voted please do so now, to show your support for the Council members who work so hard throughout the year on your behalf. The elected member of Council with the highest number of votes will become one of the Vice-Presidents for the coming session, so every vote will count.

 

When returning your Balloting List please remember to write your name on the flap of the envelope after it is sealed, as noted on the instruction sheet enclosed with the form. This enables us to check that only paid-up members have returned Balloting Lists. These are removed from the envelopes, and the envelopes discarded, prior to the count, so the anonymity of voters is ensured. Envelopes received without a paid-up member’s name on them will be discarded unopened and the votes will not be counted. 

 

If you have forgotten to renew your subscription, don’t worry, there is time to do that also: either send us a cheque with the renewal letter you received last month, phone the office on 0207 734 4145, or go to www.britastro.org/renewnow to pay by credit card.
