[BAA Comets] A GOOD READ

Hello all,
 I have just finished reading an excellent paper/article written by R.E.Schmidt of USNO for the Journal of the Society for the History of Astronomy about the comet discoveries of the brothers Charles and Horace Tutlle at Harvard College Observatory between 1850-62. This account tells, in detail of the many hardships and trials that this pair had to endure to discover comets during a period of heavy competion. It does serve to remind the reader just how many bright and great comets were visible during those years.
